Real Work Product & UX Workshop

Real Work Product & UX Workshop

Do you struggle to apply what you learned in training to real work? Or, does your team rarely get away for training because of too much work to do? This best-selling workshop has the answer: a way to get real work done all while learning valuable new skills.

During the workshop, our coaches collaborate with participants to assess needs and create an agenda, including clear objectives that may be demonstrated to stakeholders. Skills we commonly teach and practice while doing "real work" include: chartering, design thinking, user journeys, planning with story maps and evolutionary design, writing user stories and clarifying requirements, dynamically managing work in the face of changing priorities, estimating and forecasting, and effectively collaborating between diverse roles like UX and engineering.

Through this workshop, you'll complete real work, improve cross functional collaboration, increase visibility of progress, and demonstrably improve your ability to work together.

"I went into this workshop feeling hopeful but skeptical. By the middle of the second day, I could not believe what an impact the lessons had on the team! The "talking circle" game on the 3rd day morphed into more of a therapy session that really lifted off all of the remaining weight on the team's shoulders that we’d carried around for the past year. I could literally feel the team take its first breath together! Still makes me teary eyed to think about that! I have already raved about this workshop to co-workers and friends!! Thank you for making all of us awesome!" Student, Netflix
  • "As a process specialist, Industrial Logic brings both the theory as well as practical experience with lots of real world examples. They're able to draw the connection between downstream impacts associated with upstream poor practices. Their eLearning materials are a great addition to the workshop labs often with an entertaining video to highlight the concepts in use." Student, Bank of Montreal
"During the workshop, my teams worked together on existing code to put into practices the principles they learned each morning. The results were phenomenal! Our teams were able to find concrete ways to apply what they learned on our complex everyday scenarios. Having an expert guide the team through this learning set us up for success." Student, Viacom
