He uses his 20+ years of experience to help companies optimize product development planning, workflow, delivery, and improve strategic alignment and execution. Matt enjoys challenging existing mental models and simplifying the seemingly complex. He takes satisfaction from working with others to uncover the “why” behind the “what” while growing individuals’ capabilities to meet future needs.
Throughout his career, Matt has enabled multiple success stories as a consultant, interim executive, or product leader. He’s gained a breadth of experience across industries such as Healthcare, Logistics, Retail, Publishing, Finance, Scientific Research, and Insurance. His clients have ranged in size from startups to Fortune 100 and include familiar names such as Ford, Johnson & Johnson, Best Buy, Target, Sherwin Williams, Disney, Scholastic, and Capital One.
Matt speaks at Lean, Agile, and Product conferences every year and has been invited to present on topics such as Product Management, Business Agility, Organization Design, Modern Leadership, and Systems Thinking.
Matt lives in northeast Ohio with his wife and children. He and his family own and operate a small stable of 25 horses and produce various homesteading products. His other interests include hiking and scuba diving.
