Gerard is a Senior Consultant with Industrial Logic. He is a Certified ScrumMaster (Practicing) with proven experience implementing Agile and XP in a variety of problem domains and technical solutions including Java, .Net and SAP ABAP. Gerard is an internationally recognized expert in Agile methods, test automation, software architecture, software patterns and object-oriented system specializing in product/application envisioning and agile project kickoffs and retrospectives. In addition to his expertise in Domain-Driven Design, Test-Driven Development, and Functional Test Automation, Gerard is particularly adept a facilitating process rollouts various project meetings including Iteration Planning Meetings (IPM) and Iteration Retrospectives. He lives in Canada near Calgary, Alberta.

Gerard has coached managers and developers in the adoption of agile development practices and prepared / taught courses on Agile requirements and automated unit testing to numerous client including Research in Motion, Royal Bank, GE Energy, CGI, IBM, Huawei Technologies (China), Microsoft, and HP.

Gerard is the author of xUnit Test Patterns and co-author of a book on Acceptance Test Engineering. He has also authored and presented numerous technical papers and experience reports for prestigious international conferences such as OOPSLA, XP 200x, Agile 200x, and Software Development.
